We are locals, and for us this is not the place to play. Return for their Players card is the lowest I have seen. Never anyone around for drinks, a lot of older machines, and extremely low payouts. Sorry, would rather hit the COD or the Wa She Shu.

The worst chicken breast I've ever eaten in my life.....chicken should not chew like gristle on a fatty piece of steak, i even wonder if it was chicken....at least it didn't make me sick.

Each and every one of the people we met were the best, caring, helpful, funny just the best, the Casino was always fun, the lakeside cafe had great food and service and the Hotel was clean and comfortable, the only drawback was we needed chains for my pickup and the store didn't have my size so we were stuck but we were still happy with the overall picture.

Ate at steakhouse was good , bed very uncomfortable . Rooms clean, everyone was very friendly. Would stop there again but would not stay there .Not worth the price ,because of the mattress

We drove over from placerville for a 3 day short vacation. Lots of ATV and biking trails, only lake I have ever seen with brown, rainbow, and cutthroat trout - a couple of restaurants, arcade for the kids, and a mini market walking distance next door. What more can you ask for if you don't want to be in the city!

I liked the view and one staff member, Rusty, was great. Overall, i did not like it and I was seriously disappointed for a New Year celebration. Breakfast gave me diarrhea.

We've been visiting occasionally throughout the past 5 years or so. The staff in Lodge Casino and restaurant are very pleasant. The room very clean but the mattresses a bit uncomfortable. The drinks are most excellent and worth the wait because the service is a bit slow. The food in the restaurant is okay, the service is good.
