GREAT NATURAL HAIR! – I loved it here! A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. Sheena was great in letting me know what i needed for my hair. I have lived in Atlanta for a little over 2 yrs and have been natural for about 3, this place is great for me and my hair! Go see them, at least until your hair is where you want it to be.
What a difference! – I started going to Too Groovy (Lenox location) in July 2007. At the time, my hair was very damage around the hairline and shedding big time. Now, with the help of Deanna (she is great!), I am getting a lot of compliments from women and men, black and white! With not having a relaxer since May 2007, my hair is at its best!!! Great Customer Service! – I think I finally found my hair niche. I have been to over 15 salons in Atlanta since I moved here in 1999. Some salons specialized only in African American hair and some specialized in Caucasian hair but did African American hair really well. Best Flat Iron in Atlanta – I love too groovy. As a brown girl with natural hair I often struggled to find someone who could give me a nice bouncy press. Well this is the place. I am in and out in no less than 2 hours every time... a little pricey? Yes, but you get what you pay for and Too Groovy is worth every dime.
Too groovy for good customer service! – I called to confirm two separate consultation appts. I had scheduled at this salon, and was told each time that they couldn't find my appt. in the computer. Thank goodness I checked before driving all the way down there! So, this was the last straw, I will never try them again. FYI - I had a hair consultation last year for a different service and had to wait forever and ended up seeing another stylist who squeezed me in.
