Awful Customer Service – I have shopped at Tony Walker for years. I go there for everything from coats to boots and dresses and jeans. I went in there today and was told that I could receive 20% off the two pairs of boots I was going to purchase if I came back at seven that same night. I explained that I live in Lockport and that I wouldn't have time to come back later that night. Very Helpful – Yes, you do pay more at Tony Walker and Co. but you definitely get what you pay for. I have only ever experienced the royal treatment from the staff and am pleased with hoe helpful Mark was recently with an issue I had. I was in and purchased a top to go with my skirt for my wedding rehearsal dinner (after much searching elsewhere). Have liked it for years, love it now with the expansion – I brought a friend to Tony Walker today because she's heard so much but has never been. She wanted to show me a Chan Luu bracelet that she's seen around, so we were just interested in window shopping. Wow, give them a chance to get nasty, especially when no one knows it's them, and you can really get some crazy stuff going. the sales people are so arrogant – i try jean sizes on in the store, then order them online from saks, revolve or shopbop. the sales people think that there the coolest people because they work in an, at best, second rate store. the clothes are not "the latest" as they claim, but have been available online for months before they arrive in the store. the store does not have a wide variety of clothes, and carries those ridculous velour suits people in buffalo insist on wearing. the clothes are overpriced, not even at the retai... read more
Tony Walker is an exceptional store!!!! – I am having trouble understanding all the negativity regarding Tony Walker & Co. I live in Rochester and drove in today because of a problem I had with a pair of Uggs that I had recently purchased. (NOT A PROBLEM WITH TONY WALKER!!) TONY WALKER APOTHECARY IS A DIRTY MESS – My first impression of the store was that it was a terrible mess, and one of the girls sitting on her computer was eating oatmeal. It was repulsive. I tried to ignore her but she rudely interrupted the young salesgirl helping me. She not only embarrassed the young girl by telling her she was wrong (it turns out she actually wasn't wrong) but she looked ridiculous yelling at other workers in front of customers for no reason.
