Can't say enough nice things – Just wonderful dishes to choose from Snapper Rosemary, blackened snapper with lime butter, crawfish ravioli, great appetizers too. Ya gotta try the Oyster's Damian. Tony does a great job of blending Mexican, Italian and coon-ass in a REMARKABLE way. Would recommend to anyone who's looking for high quality seafood.
Marvelous Mandola's – We went to Tony Mandola's 1/28/03. I have to recommend the Snapper Martha. Tony Mandola's mixes itailan dishes with slightly spicy seafood, creating something delicious. Not only is the food great, but the service is outstanding. We did not make reservations (we didn't know you had to for a Tuesday night) and had to wait, but the hostess was very friendly and funny, and our waiter was very helpful and polite. The Best Snapper! – The Snapper Martha was the bartender's recommendation and it was absolutely wonderful! Huge lumps of crabmeat and crawfish with jumbo prawns were an excellent compliment to the grilled snapper. The seafood had an excellent flavor and the happy hour specials are definitely worth the trip. I travel with work and this is definitely a place I'll return to when back in Houston.
Great Happy Hour – This location has one of the best happy hours in town, if you can get a seat at the bar. 10 cent peel and eat shrimp, crab balls, gumbo, and great prices on beer. Not to mention excellent service - Brian makes a mean cocktail. What more could you want?
