RecommendedI can not believe I lived in memphis for 13 years without trying Tom’s , I thought I don’t like BBQ it tunes out I just never had Toms before , Best beef Ribs in the city hands down , definitely 5 start service, taste price and friends staff I will be coming back with the family very soon. We were visiting Memphis and seen you restaurant on DDD. We stop in to try it. First the counter service was awful. We had a few questions the counter person keep didn't answer any question we ask about the menu. I ordered the 2meat plate, ribs and brisket. I got rib tips( which were burnt) and brisket (which thye end up given me chopped beef). When I brought it to the counter person attention,she said you have to pay for another plate. Unorganized beyond belief!! Ordered a chicken salad and deviled eggs because they were packaged up and ready to go and waited in line 15 minutes with cashier doing something but not at register, so I left and will NEVER GO BACK!! Cleanliness is not their forte!!! Headed to Elwoods Shack!! I will never darken the doors of this dump again!!! Used to love it, but the employees look dirty, missing teeth, bad hygiene and not someplace I want to patronize! So sorry to see this place run down!!!!
Cheese and Mac is awsome,.. spices on the Barbque were perfect all and all I’m ready too go back now. Great service.
Tom's Barbecue is delicious! Adam & his son Bassom are not only professional but also friendly. We had my Mom's Happy Birthday party there & we are so happy we did! The food was great! Hot food hot& cold food like slaw cold. The pecan pie & strawberry shortcake was yummy! Y'all Tom's staff is so down to Earth. They can sing! Father & Son serenade my beautiful Mom. Even sang Happy Birthday is 3 different languages. We felt welcomed & honored to be there. We love Tom's Barbecue & look forward to going again . Thank you💞
I wish I could post the smell that hits you when you get out of your vehicle, that wood burning good ole bbq cooking 🙌🏼 yes honey 😋. We stopped in while traveling through Memphis and boy are we glad we did, food was excellent, and the sweet and spicy sauce!!! it is IT!!! Then if it wasn’t a great enough experience already, the owner Adam came over to check on us, customer service like that you will not find anywhere else. I left feeling like we stopped in to see family. Stay great Adam!
