Cathy is a great hair stylist I have ever met. – I had very thick and bristly hair which have problems especially expanding in raining day. Cathy is the person who made my hair easy to care and look beautiful !! Many people, even strangers whom I met on a street, ask me where I got my hair style. No more fear at raining day and I am very happy with my hair now. Cathy has not only a wonderful technique but also a great personality. If you are thinking to have straight parm, get an appointment with Cathy and you will see !!!
Cathy is better then many of new yorks best! – My hair has been worked on by some of New Yorks finest stylists. Bumble and bumble, etc. Cathy, at the Tomoko Shima hair salon, totally blew my mind. She takes the craft to a new level. My hair has never been so beautiful.

Great Service, Great Value, Great Results – Tomoko Shima does a great job and her prices are incredibly reasonable. I have been going to her since she worked at Hayaoto (spelling?) and then followed her to her new location. It takes me some time to get to her now (I live downtown) but she is worth it.
