The only hair salon in NYC that I would like to go back to! – I finally find a hair salon in NYC after 5 years that I would like to come back to and would like to recommend to my friends! Nao Suzuki is an excellent stylist in terms of her tecknique and service. I love this hair salon – I've been going here ever since I moved to the upper east side in june '06. I've always had cathy do my hair and since she left I've went to Nao. She is amazing and I absolutely love the way she cuts my hair. My friends always ask me where I go and I am very happy that I found this place. Great price and great stylists.

Tomoko knows your hair! – I've been a client of Tomoko's for about 5 years and I can only say one thing...she knows my hair!! You describe to her the way you want your hair to look, and she works her magic. I especially love the way she creates a modern, shaggy look for me. Her salon has a peaceful, zen atmosphere. The assistants are great too; they will give you a relaxing shampoo and massage. You must check this place out.

My favorite salon! – My hair always looks its best thanks to my hairdresser here. I always get complimets on my cut and color. They're great for an average day blowout to a night out updo. The staff is considerate and kind and listens to your choice while recomending what they think is best.
Great Japanese salon – I agree w/these reviews below. I just went there for fixing my hair, which was rather out of control with my natural wave growing after the Japanese straight treatment done ages ago. Yes, some serious work was crucially needed. Best hair salon in New York City!!! – Nao has been cutting my hair for 3 years and she's the best!!! She so creative and so gentle. She is the most patient hairdresser I've ever gone to because she cuts my hair when it's wet and then when it's dry! Never in my 26 years in New York have I ever felt so comfortable at a salon.
