Was visiting the local area last year when I came down with bad stomach pains. I called the Tomah VA and was told to come right in. I went in the main entrance, explained my situation and was treated like gold through the process of being examined, treated and sent to pick up a prescription before leaving the facility. I have never been treated that well in any civilian hospital. Thank you Tomah VA!!
Had to get my VA records. Had a great experience with the gals from Release of Information. Very knowledgeable at fast at their job.
Wow I registered when I came in and when I got to 3rd floor I didn't even get to sit down when they called me. Same with 2nd appointment. But I think I picked up the flu bug while there
Typically a decent facility. Urgent Care DR. Simon was outstanding this past Sunday. Unsure about the follow up care with the doctor yesterday. As the veterans (patient's) wife, I am very concerned with the lack of follow up care before having the recommended tests to either confirm or disregard the diagnosis. Medication needed the same day was not administered because the pharmacy was closed! Another trip today back to Tomah VA for medication, and now we are back to square one. Heartbreaking.
The staff doesn't know what they are doing, won't do a referral, no tests & most of the time just sent home.
Received a sleep study through My Choice, simple process very straight forward!
