From the day it opened, it has been my go-to ramen restaurant in DC, and one of my favorite places to bring visitors, despite the awkward seating, until the last three times I visited... Food has definitely gone downhill along with the service. Sad change with the new owners. Was hoping to continue to support, but there is no novelty to sitting in a cramped space for overpriced food, and an insecure owner talking down to you, when you’ve come to support their venture despite their changes. RecommendedYou MUST know exactly how to get here and to enter through a bar called The Pug, but once here you will delight in the atmosphere, staff, menu and drink. Super cozy place so watch your elbows, but dig into a righteous bowl of ramen and the black beer from Tokyo - flavor combinations are royal.

Amazing Ramen, Steamed Buns and Service!
My family and I love this place. Our only complaint is that it’s tiny and we had to wait about an hour for a table. However, we were able to walk around and they text us when the table was ready. It was every bit worth the wait.
