State Farm is terrible! A semi truck insured by them (****** * ***********) left me on the freeway for dead. Accident happened in Nov. Adjuster accused me of lying. Said accident wasn't hit and run when it clearly stated it on accident report. Also newspaper and online headlines! Adjuster Sandra ********still giving me a hard time today with settlement. SMDH!!

This insurance company is nothing like it use to be. Loyal customer for 25+ years and here I am for the first time ever making a home owners claim for roof damage and I’m getting dragged through hell with this claims team trying to everything possible to blame it on something or someone else. They do not care one bit! Take their time and simply hope you just go away. I was left like a dog to die for about 4 hours. I called to request roadside assistance and even paid the remaining part because only 12 miles are covered. I was told I'd receive a call from the towing service provider shortly. More than an hour passed by and I heat nothing. I pick up the phone and call them again, and they say that someone from a towing company located more than an hour away is coming for me. I wait and hear nothing. If I could give zero stars I would. I am a victim in a straight forward accident with the fault being a State Farm customer. The police report is very clear that I have no fault in this event. It has been 6 full days since the accident, with numerous phone calls and messages to the assigned adjuster with no return call. As a single mom who has to work, I find it appalling that no one will speak to me or at least authorize a rental. State Farm has the policy of canceling policy holders of 22 years. It doesn't matter that you have been a customer for 22 years but a 16 year old has accident and they move to cancel. The say they are a good neighbor but don't listen to the agent who is the FACE of the company. They have no say in anything with State Farm just expected to be the face but never be a part of supporting the customer base. The underwriter decision to cancel does not involve the agent. Had a soft clog in my home that backed up into both bathrooms and laundry room and ruined walls and flooring due to possible bacterial growth. Home is torn up to remove those areas. Have been a customer of State Farm since the 1980's and they won't cover this? Any of it? I'm not understanding why we have home owner's insurance. This is a horrible company. Penny ******

Absolutely the worst insurance company I have ever delt with. Adjuster agreed to storm damage on a roof, 6 months Into claim to have the repair done correctly state farm decided their was no damage at all and refused to complete the repair and claim correctly. When asked no damage was found why did they pay out a claim in the first place, they had no actual answer just that there is nothing I could do about it should of taking it to court. STATE FARM IS A SCAM. State Farm issues homeowner policies in name only. Read the fine print, and you'll find that almost nothing is covered, and if it is, this company will do everything within its power to deny your claim or pay you a tiny percent of what you deserve. I've used State Farm for more than 20 years, and customer loyalty means absolutely nothing. Horrible experience. One of there customers rear ended me and it took over 3 months for them to get my claim settled and paid out. I had to basically hold their hand the whole way through the whole process. Rental company (not State Farm) called me in the middle of the day saying the rental was due back THAT day with no prior notice from State Farm. They sent me a prepaid envelope to send the title to my car into them and it had the wrong address on it resulting in the title getting lost. The only reason I even found that ou... read more
