This man is so rude and arrogant. I don't even know his knowledge because he didn't like to answer questions. I can't imagine having to deal with him as a patient, going elsewhere. It's frightening to think that he deals with people. He's in the wrong business. He should be a prison doctor.
Sadly, I can't truly rate Dr. Alexander because he was to busy to see me. His assistant was understanding and kind at first then the day of my surgery he became belligerent and rude. We were told to ask questions and voice concerns however that is extremely difficult to do when the assistant spends less than 2 full minutes in my room. I was upset that after being at the hospital in the morning my surgery was cancelled but thankful because I want someone who cares about my health to do my surgery. Most disappointing was the s... read more
Think he is good surgeon but follow up care is pretty much non existing. When having pain issue doesn't advise any roads to control or even seem to care. Even direct question about surgery are not ever Really answered when trying to figure out future pain management.
I had a fusion done in August of 2013 and am still having pain. I had questions for him and he fumbled around with his answers. He finally said there is nothing he could do for me and I should get a 2nd opinion which I had already gotten from a doctor saying he could help me. He said he didn't like my attitude and the business is too dangerous to work on someone who is hostile and walked out of the room! I was dumbfounded! His bedside manners are the worst I have ever encountered. I never blamed him for my 'failed fusion'...... read more
I would not recombine Todd Alexander to anyone! He has no bedside manors and no compassion for his patients! He did my back surgery and from the time of waking up I explained that something wasn't right he didn't do anything about nor was there really to much follow up care I explained many times I was in more pain then before and was told to deal with it!! No care or regards for patients needs!
He is a very knowledgable and highly skilled doctor. I would reccommend him on his surgery skills alone. However, he has the personality of a brick wall. He seems very arrogant and does not have a very good bedside manner. He seems intimidating at times. He does have his nice moments, but he really needs to work on showing compassion a little more. I do continue to see him though and I do recommend him based on his talent as a Neurosurgeon.
Will not collaborate with my neurologist. Otherwise, seems knowledgable, and presents information in a very straightforward manner.
Terrible bed side manner. Lacking in patience and compassion.
