Dr. Alexander and his staff only seem interested in being arrogant and condescending with no regard to patient issues.
I had a cervical disctectomy by Dr. Alexander years ago and my neck is still good. He was very thorough with what to expect..how long healing would be ect... I No negative issues . Awesome surgeon!!!
Dr. Alexander is a great surgeon but that's the only thing good I have to say about the man. He is extremely rude and chauvinistic. He expects you to know everything he's saying. And if you actually ask a question he talks to you like your ignorant or he is just right out mean to you. His nurse is just as miserable as he is. The way she talks to you on the phone is so highly unprofessional. I guess id be unhappy too if I knew I had to go work with him everyday. If you want a doctor look somewhere else. He pushes his surgery to his physicians assistant who is a rude and Un caring person just like Dr. Alexander. Arrives at your surgery at the last minute then has minimal follow up.
my surgery was in 2010 and thank the Lord and Dr A. I havent hurt since!!! yes, he is very curt...but his skill repaired my VERY crooked back....Thanks DR ALEXANDER FOR GIVING ME MY LIFE BACK!!! Joshua S.
My mother age 91 fell and fractured her neck. Dr. Alexander's nurse (I never saw Dr. Alexander) explained that my mother was not a candidate for surgery and that she would have to wear the neck brace the rest of her life. She gave me a lecture about how we have to "let her go." I got three other opinions from two orthopedic spine surgeons and neurosurgeon. Dr. Alexander's prompt emergency surgery saved my life.
I had a spinal fusion after falling down my stairs. I was flown to Rockford. This Dr. has no compassion andwould not help me with my pain, and basically disregarded me at every turn. 2 years later and I am still in pain that makes it hard to even function. I would not recommend Dr. Alexander to my worst enemy.
i guess results is all that matters.his staff was great and he can dealt with...
