Brought in a solid 14K gold ring weighing 8 grams. I was offered $400, which is around 55% of melt. No explanation was given for the pricing. Just want others to be aware so they can compare offers and do their own research. I know these guys have to make some money but paying 55% spot is pawn shop level offers.
