Unlivable. I have had two friends that have lived there. One seven years ago and one that unfortunately does so currently. Both had issues with bed bugs. Both instances were handled horribly. The apartment complex is slow to address the issue, has failed on numerous occasions to properly kill the bugs and WORST OF ALL charges full rent despite the units literally being unlivable!!!! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property and its team! While apartment hunting, I stopped by Tivoli Gardens Apartments on 14th Street and was immediately greeted with a warm smile from the assistant manager, Lilly. She took the time to sit with me, listen to my needs, and help me find the layout that would be the best fit. Her professionalism and kindness truly stood out. Great on-site staff, responsive, and kind. Pest issue is getting worse week after week with roaches now that summer is here. Pest control is responsive and attentive. They come when requested each week, but are unable to solve the issue. I'm seeing roaches everyday and night. At this point i'm loosing peace of mind.
Just moved in last month and already had several major issues with plumbing and appliances. Now managment has resorted to using double talk, excuse making and ARGUING with me, a tenant with a legitimate complaint, in an attempt to weasel out of their legal responsibility and fix the latest issue, i.e.- an oven that was burning food, despite being at the correct recommended temperature (frozen pot pie), and with 27 minutes still left to cook. I would rate Tivoli higher if it wasn’t for the trigger happy management coming up with any excuse they can to evict honest working people from their apartments and refusing to just talk to tenants to address issues when they come up. Seems to be a pattern. I’m still here but when my lease is up goodbye Tivoli unless you can clean up your act.
