Lox and bagels are outstanding especially for 10 bucks, staff is a little slow but no big deal if you're not in a rush. Other than that they're Delicatessen and Market are outstanding. FYI the staff doesn't know about the beer selection when I inquired. Therefore I was limited on what i purchased.
I eat there once a week and always always get GREAT service and WONDERFUL meals with plenty of left overs! It is like family there...just speak up if something's not right and they will fix it with a smile.

I'm from louisiana and I came to California for work. My brother took me to tip top. Biggest and best steak ever. Everything is great here. The prices amazed me . Low price alot of food.
The food is always outstanding. Can't beat the amount of food for the money! Steak and eggs were delicious, and their bacon is the best!
I have eaten at Tip Top for many years and the food is awesome and the staff can answer any questions you have about a good cut of meat or just ordering a simple lunch. So the next time your in the Carlsbad stop in and have a great meal
