Large portions and German food. Have gone here to eat when I am in Carlsbad many times. The market is outstanding. Huge selection of sausages. Next time bringing my cooler to bring home sausages, especially Swedish potato sausage. And coffee cake and strudel and jam and pickles and....

omgeee best chicken cordon blue evvver!!! we had a big home cooked meal && a beer under $25.00! Amazing!!!! butcher ..deli.. resturant.. store ..the options are endless ..you could spend alot of time in there!
It was horrible, we waited over half an hour before our food was brought out and it was obvious it had been sitting in the back for awhile. Order the French dip (hot) and it was literally cold and had been sitting so long the bread was soggy all the way through, I don't know what was I think was supposed to be a pickle slice, the au jou was flavorless except the separate lard spots, nobody ate their meals hardly and we had to ask 2 different people before the soda machine was fixed so we weren't just drinking soda water.
The Staff at Tip Top Meats are very courteous and knows all of aspects of Market. Large meat, cheese, bakery and German food selections. The restaurant is the rear of store, breakfast selections good choice - try Big Johns breakfast (eggs, toast, potatoes, sausage, bacon and ham) - you can go back re-order more meat (all you can eat) for $9. Great service!
