i was 50/50 on this place – For my first tattoo experience it was mostly positive. The place was very clean and Igor worked with the design that my partner and I presented and helped to customize it. I didn't notice until a week later that part of the design was a little uneven. It was a Celtic knot so the real appeal is it's symmetry. It's very slight and not noticeable unless I point it out, but it is there. Go to Igor! – I had an incredible experience at Tiger Lilly for my first tattoo. Igor was absolutely incredible! I got a lotus flower on my hip and not only did Igor place it in perfect "flow" with the contours of my body, it also covered a surgical scar. Everyone who has seen it has told me that it looks more like a painting than a tattoo. There's no cheesy cartoonish tattoo feel to it; it literally looks like a work of art. Igor took my concept and made it better than I could ever have imagined.
I would go back to Tiger Lilly in an instant! – After reading tons of positive reviews about Tiger Lilly, I decided to stop by there after work today and talk to one of the artists. Tiger Lilly Tattoo - talented artists, super friendly, very clean – I just got a tattoo from Mike V today... He was wonderful. I had to call about 3 different times the past 2 weeks to get my appointment. I didn't mind a bit - It wasn't a hassle, it was just because it was a busy time for them and several people were taking vacation, so no one was really positive who would be around on the day I needed. Tattoo artists that care – This is my first tattoo in Portland and i'm glad i chose to go to Tiger Lily's. Mike V is kick a**!! The artists here actually gives a hoot about what you put on your flesh, and will give you suggestions on what will or will not look good. I highly recommend this shop not only because they're clean, professional, and have awesome artists, but also because they're fun to work with :-)
Tiger Lilly the place to go for a tattoo!! – I had my first tattoo experience at Tiger Lilly a few weeks ago and I made an appointment with Igor. He seemed very confident in his work and rightfully so! He did an amazing job and is an incredible artist. I am very satisfied with the tattoo that I got and when I get another one I will definitely go to Igor. Tiger Lilly has a fun, laidback, and comftorable feel to it and all the artists seemed like really cool creative people.
great experience! – Mike V did my first tattoo at Tiger Lilly a few weeks ago. I brought in a picture which was somewhat of a vague starting point, but he listened to what I had in mind and the sketch he came up with was beautiful. He had a good vision and provided suggestions throughout the entire process. The colors are perfect and the lines are perfect... I've gotten what seems like a billion compliments on my tattoo. By far the best!!!! – Since this was my first tattoo I was very nervous about finding someone, I checked online and asked around and the name Tiger Lilly kept coming up...Even after hearing all the good things I just kept thinking something would go wrong yeah alittle paranoid I was being. Great experience both times – I went to Tigerlily for my first tatoo with my father. They did such a good job that I came back two years later. Mat did my tattoo, and he was really knowlegable, and nice to talk to. This Tattoo parlor came highly recommended, and they have lived up to the praise. I have been to two different tattoo artists at tigetlily, and they were excellent. I have idea for my next tattoo and I will be going back to Tigerlily.
