While Dr. Phi introduced herself pleasantly and engaged me in casual, light conversation, once the examination began she turned into a completely different, a cruel, pushy, person who (it was obvious) only wanted to take my money. She told me I had a cavity. Then she told me to pull the entire tooth. Over my life time I have never had a dentist (regarding the same tooth) tell me right then and there to pull the entire tooth. Dr. Phi is truly an amazing, compassionate, and skillful dentist. I felt at ease instantly as I walked into the office and met the friendly staff and doctor. I loved the incredible ocean views, aromatherapy, and movie glasses, it all made my dental visit enjoyable and took my mind off of the dental work!!! And most importantly of all, my veneers are beautiful and have restored my confidence level and self-esteem. At first the experience was great. Everyone was friendly, and the office is beautiful with great views. I picked Dr. Phi because she was on my preferred provider list. After my cleaning & xrays, I was told that I needed to have some cavities filled (oops). The receptionist wanted to set my appointment, but after they provided me with a quote of over $600 after my insurance coverage, I realized I needed a little time to come up with the money. Dr. Phi is an excellent dentist. She and her staff give you the utmost and attentive care. She has state of the art technology, and you can watch movies while she does your dental work. She has an excellent technician, Joann, and her admistrative assistant, Carla, is wonderful, too.
