Having Dr. Phi as my dentist is the best. She understands my fears of getting work done and is very patient with me. The best part is that I have not experienced any pain from the work I've had done which includes two crowns. I really appreciate how much they work with my insurance which allows them to tell me exactly what to expect to pay before the procedure takes place. I highly recommend Dr. Phi to anyone.
Dr. Phi is very gentle and professional. Everything is explained to you which is great and allows you to relax since there are no surprises coming. Dr. Phi really takes care of her patients.

I love coming here, seriously! The office is high tech and modern. Dr. Phi is great and easy to talk to. She's very attentive and notices if I'm feeling a little bit of discomfort. My teeth are so sensitive that I used to hate seeing a dentist. I saw Dr. Phi and she's very gentle and careful.

Dr. Phi is a very good dentist. She shows that she genuinely cares about her patients, which is something all medical personnel should show. She's gentle and explains everything as she goes through the process. She doesn't leave me in the dark and communicates with me. Highly recommended!
Dr. Phi did not do a good job on my cap, leading it to break within a year of having received it. Today I had to go to another dentist to get the problem corrected, costing me additional pain, money and time. I don't think she really cares about her patients. I do not rec.
I visited Dr. Phi for a routine teeth cleaning. Throughout the cleaning, Dr. Phi tried to sell me numerous additional and unnecessary services. Upon completion of the services, I found on my bill, strange toothpaste and mouthwash that she had charged $75 for, without first consulting whether or not I wanted to purchase it. I confronted Dr. Phi, and she refused to discuss the issue with me and refused to refund the $75 for the unopened, unused, and sealed products. I would not recommend visiting Dr. Phi.
I had two (silver) fillings replaced as well as an overall deep cleaning on the entire mouth. She did a very professional job and spent a lot of time to make sure the job was well done. She was referred by a friend and the facilities and staff were very nice. I think being in La Jolla and having a view of the ocean will drive up the cost a little but they do try to make you relax, even having an open breeze and scented candles.
