Dr. Clay loves the diversity of patients and diseases seen in Dermatology. Behind each door is a new mystery, which makes each day different and exciting. My interest in Dermatology began early and stemmed from my personal skin issues. Having dealt with acne and eczema as a teenager, Dr. Clay knows the impact skin disease can have on ones self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. I empathize with patients who dont feel confident because of the appearance of their skin.Seeing improvement in patients is very gratifying to D... read more

I went to visit Dr. Clay for a newborn’s eczema. My bad that I didn’t read the review before I went there. Both the doctor and the staff was rude and unprofessional. She spend not even two minutes to address my concern. When my newborn was screaming and I needed a minute to take the pacifier out, she said “ the nurse will address your concern, My appointment time is done and I have other patients, unlike pediatrician I can’t spend more time” and just left. She didn’t even bother to explain about eczema. Even though they say ... read more
Drove 157 miles to see Dr Clay today, for my first visit. I was ten minutes late, due to taking a wrong exit, and she made me reschedule. I guess her patients don’t deserve a ten minute grace period. Oh well, I will take my services elsewhere.
The staff seemed knowledgable but unfortunately Dr. Clay did not seem very friendly. I did not get all my questions answered and did not feel very good about the visit. Will try again next time.
I have been seeing Dr. Clay for almost 3 years now, and she’s been very helpful in restoring my hairloss without having to prescribe me many medications. She also does a great job with diagnosis of any issues I may have (or has had) with hair follicles, bumps, etc.
I went to see this doctor for a small rash above my lip and a small cyst. She said it was pre cancerous but took NO sample to send to a lab. She then prescribed a gel which is expensive at CVS and other pharmacies. The instructions by her were to put a small amount on it over night and it would flake off. I only had it on for 20 minutes when the burning became too much and I had to wash it off. The next day it was swollen and blistering. I still have the rash over 6 weeks later. I tried to call the doctor but was told she wa... read more
I was very disappointed with my visit with Dr Clay. She was very rude, cocky, and full of herself. She examined me and then made some remarks that were extremely unprofessional such as “Primary Care Physicians don’t know anything about skincare. Tell your PCP to change your BP Rx.” Since I had cellulitis in both legs but not simultaneously and was treated by an experienced vascular surgeon she retorted, “You probably never had cellulitis. Those dark areas are venous insufficiency.” I was appalled. If she had taken the time t... read more
The office is very quick. They're courteous and helpful. Dr. Clay is the best dermatologist. She's quick to understand what you need and she's straight forward and to the point. I would definitely recommend.
I will never try to go see her again. I made an appointment with her but, was in a car accident on my way to her office. Although I only arrived 10 minutes late, she refused to see me. I know for a fact that I would have sat in the waiting room or a patient room for more than 10 minutes but, I guess it was ok for me to have to wait on her. If I had been extremely late, I could have understood but, 10 minutes late is just not reasonable.
I wish she would have worked out based on reviews but found myself spending more money for her to just tell me to see how everything goes over 2-3 months or Place sunscreen on my hand. Offered to do a biopsy but didn’t trust that this was a good idea. Even with the medicine She prescribed, she disagreed with the pharmacist regarding side effects. I hardly write reviews but I would advise to find someone who actually knows and cares about your body. She also has low emotional intelligence.
