I stopped by Thwaites today for a couple pork pies,FANTASTIC as per usual. I bought a container of Gorton,haven't had it in a while. Well lets just say it was as good as Mom and Nana made it. Thank you guys for the memories! !
My Dad would bring them when I was little never wanted to try them. Both parents ate them (pork) now can't live without them !!!
My Dad owned a garage across the street from Thwaites so we were always there! My Mom bought all her meats there and other groceries as well. It was almost like walking into "Cheers" without the the beers! It's a family run business and everyone was always so friendly! My Dad's favorite thing about Thwaites was their pork pies! Now they make so many different varieties......and they're all awesome! Congratulations Thwaites Market on your Phantom visit! Can't wait to see you on tv!

I grew up in Methuen, Mass. My Mom would go there for all her meats and especially the homemade sausages and pies. I now live in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire and will travel the 2 plus hours several times a year to continue my habit and stock up on sausages and pies. They are wonderful ! I even bought 6 packages to bring to my daughter who lives in California!
