My first time at Thwaites and I can't say enough. First - the meat pies. Crispy deliciousness on the outside, moist and super flavorful on the inside. Next - the fresh kielbasi. We haven't found this Polish incredibleness outside of Dorchester and this was mouthwatering. Last, but my no means least - the service. From the guy who chose our kielbasi and pies to the young woman at the register. Nothing short of amazing! Thank you all for a great experience!
Their meat pies are incredible. When you buy a large one to take home for dinner make sure to get a few small, hot ones to eat right away.
Always has been one of my favorite places in my hometown. You drive past it while it's open and your windows are down and all you can smell are fresh pies! Wonderful prices, incredible quality. Yummy!
I am reviewing the in-house made pies, WHICH ARE EXCELLENT. So they are great pub pies that you can even reheat later on. I had success with nuking my for 1:45, came out just hot enough without being overdone. I could imagine a well received meal for a family being a plate with a thwaites meat pie. mashed potatoes, and steamed green beans. Perhaps some brown gravy as a condiment.
