Everything is made fresh and never fails to delight the palate. Whether it is your weekly meat order or a special lunch for yourself. this shop should be on your agenda.
RecommendedI've had their pies before but went there for the first time yesterday! it was almost closing so section was limited but still managed to get some good pies! we will definitely be back! Just went to Thwaites today for the first time ,I remember my great aunts getting meat/pork pies for my dad many years ago . It almost brought me to tears,seeing that my great aunts and father is gone now,thanks for letting me walk down memory lane even though I was too young to remember. The scotch eggs delish ,and bought 6pies as well for a taste test for 2 people,could barely get the second one down. Yummy 😋
Thwaites individual meat pies are so flavorful and packed with filling. All different varieties you can them hot or cold and they make family size pies too. These pies are made with love!

Can I just say that I used to get chicken pot pies from Thwaites on the regular when I lived in Methuen. I've been in California for 4 years now and miss it every day. Well I got the ridiculous idea to ask if they could overnight me a dozen pies and Abby from Thwaites was more than helpful with this dorky endeavor. After chatting back and forth I finally placed an order and one day later it was on my porch waiting for me. If you're local to Methuen you can just go get them, no need to overnight ship it. I have been ordering from Thwaites Food Truck for the last two weeks at the Tewksbury Community Market. These meat pies are one of the best parts of my week - and certainly my Tuesdays! I have also been to the brick and mortar shop in Methuen, and the selection is crazy good. These pies (and scotch eggs!) are the real deal. I recommend them to anyone who crosses my path! The staff are super nice, which makes the experience even better.
