I was sent a lease but requested to see the apartment before signing due to a disability. I was talked over and hung ip on repeatedly by the employee who continued to call me back even after hanging up on my. When I asked to speak to his supervisor I was told that he was it. We lived in an upgraded 3 bed 2 bath unit at Canopy Apartments in ******** Mar22-Mar23. I have a lot to say about this place that wouldn't fit within the character limit. These are some of the issues during our time there; 1) $600 nonrefundable fee went towards dog park that was neglected. Several maintenance requests to fix the gate/fence, but ignored. I was rushed into my apartment and was never told there was 5 Spanish people living above me with two dogs.I cant sleep the dogs bark all day and night these people know we have complained so when there not open at the office they really let ** have it with music and stomping the two dogs running back in forth.if they did it why I was at work it would be one thing but I get no sleep Ive sent video and voice messages proving these complaints to the office and she dont do anything to help me

Thrive Communities is a predatory company. They continue to allow men who sexually harass you to stay employed. They allow maintenance to pull cameras on people (residents and staff) whenever they want for whatever purposes with no additional supervision. They also allow for discrimination to occur even when brought to their attention. This is genuinely an extremely unethical business and no one should live or work for them.

I lived at ******** Apartments from 10/17 to 10/21. I paid my rent and utilities (water and garbage) to my management, Thrive Communities, every month on time. When I vacated the apartment at the end of my lease, I had 2 months of utilities withheld from my deposit. I explained repeatedly that this was not possible as I had paid the same amount every month in advance how could I be behind. Hello BBB team,Ms. ********** moved out of the ******** in October of 2021. During her stay at the ******** there was a change in the utility billing. Thrive was billing a monthly flat fee through January 2021 and transitioned to Conservice in February 2021. Conservice bills approximately 45 days in arrears, so there is a delay in the utility billing. This is hands down the worst and most unethical company I've had the displeasure of encountering. I moved earlier in 2020 during the pandemic and then 6 months later they tried to bill me for apartment damages(this is after taking the entire deposit because why not?). Management company was doing some illegal things e.g. stealing packages and harassing tenants.

I've had packages stolen repeatedly during the time Thrive communities was managing the property. Instead of implementing proper security or addressing tenant concerns they blamed the tenants for stealing and letting thieves in. I guess its always the tenants fault when something goes wrong. Surprising that the police station is only a few blocks away and they're unable to prevent package theft.
