I’ve been living in this apartment for over 12 years, when Thos D. walsh took over it became my worst nightmare! I wish there was a zero start option. He sucks at replying back especially when there is an emergency in maintenance. Why own a building if you don’t have enough money to fix it? Every interaction I had with Thos. D. Walsh over 3 years of renting from them proved just how incompetent they are. Service requests are flat out ignored, including a mice and cockroach infestation in my apartment that they did literally nothing about. Everything that is fixed is done in the most half-ass way possible. When my roommate and I moved out we had to fight with them for over TWO MONTHS in order to get our security deposit back and they never explained why they held onto it for so long.
Terrible service, those apartments are useless and those who manage them do not maintain the building. I lived in the building 4585 MacArthur Blvd NW and believe me, I had a bad experience with the manager of that place, she was never cordial or kind, they only see their interest in the money and the cost of moving, it is terrible, they act crazy or put extra charges as an excuse not to give the deposit according to why you have to pay for the damages to the apartment and the building in general when they are supposed to giv... read more
