Dr. Samuelson operated on my right rotator cuff. After 7 months of physical therapy my shoulder is back to full range of motion and near full strength. I would like to applaud his staff especially Erin Gilmore who helped me schedule my surgery and informed me of what to expect as far as surgery and recovery time. KCBJ are professional and genuine. Not only am I a patient as are both of my sons.
Went for an evaluation, he already had his mind made up from reviewing my records. He kept hurting me even when I told him to stop. Two days later I can't hold a paper plate with two breakfast sandwiches without uncomfortable pain. Wouldn't go back if it saved my life.
My experiences with Dr. Samuelson was not positive. After sustaining a work related injury to my knee, I was assigned further care from Dr. Samuelson. My first few visits were helpful. Dr. Samuelson appeared to be listening to my explanation of symptoms, reviewing previous scans and notes from my first doctor. He prescribed several injections, physical therapy, and another MRI. Dr Samuelson was very knowledgeable and quick to the point. I appreciated the efficiency of his office and was finally able to give me some relief in my shoulder. I was living with this pain and not knowing for over a year.
Always a pleasure to see De Samuelson again. He is an excellent orthopedic doctor and as retired nurse believe me I did research. He was also recommended by physician friend as Ortho he would go to. Dr S. Did my knee replacement 11 years ago and it is still going strong! Need my other one done now. Sorry to hear he no longer does knee replacements but have every confidence that his colleague in office he recommends will be great also. If you need Ortho I highly recommend this group!
Dr. Samuelson repaired my left shoulder a few years ago. I now have similar problems in my right shoulder. It should be apparent that I trust Dr. Samuelson since I am going back to him for the current injury. He tries to rehab the injury before recommending surgery. He's very knowledgeable, spends as much time as you need and will be as technical about your injury as you want to know. Highly recommended.
He was very thorough and professional. I got a test and follow up appointment scheduled immediately. I felt very informed as a result of the visit
