First shoulder issue - Dr. Samuelson rehabbed it with exercise, not surgery. He does not immediately default to a surgical solution. Second (other) shoulder - had major damage - Dr. Samuelson takes the time, including on post-op followup visits, to keep you informed; he doesn't rush; he will be technical when necessary. I don't think I could have had a better surgeon or better care - he even called me at home to ensure I was doing okay. I have already recommended him to several others.
I have had two surgeries done by Samuelson, an ortho right knee 9/2010 and a left shoulder total replacement 4/16. Both went extremely well. My recovery time on the shoulder replacement was way ahead of schedule mainly due to the actions of Dr. Samuelson. I would highly recommend him as an extremely competent surgeon and a great person as well.
