Friendly, thorough, explains things well
I had an orthopedic appointment this week with Dr. Samuelson. Everything about the appointment was as I had hoped and expected. I have utilized his professional services several times and was expecting things to go well. I had no problems getting an appointment quickly and easily. Dr. Samuelson repaired my rotator cuff and cleaned up bone spurs on my shoulder. The pre-op visits, surgery and post-op care were all outstanding. He and his staff were all professional and at the same time, caring for my condition and recovery. I am currently 4 months post surgery and have a lot of mobility back in my shoulder. Continued prescribed and home PT will get me back to full motion and strength in several more months. I would highly recommend Dr. Samuelson and his team at the KC Bone & Joint Clinic
The doctor was fine as was all of the staff. I thought what I had done in advance was preregistration but apparently they needed even more information once I got to my appointment. The ethnic portion was ridiculous with at least one hundred categories to choose from. And you had to do it on a computer tablet. Time consuming, laborious and inefficient. Dr. Samuelson repaired my shoulder in January and Seven months later it feels like a totally new one. What would normally take eighteen months only took seven. Great surgeon!
He had already looked at my MRI when I showed up for the appointment which means he obtained the information and was completely prepared when I arrived the very next morning. He didn’t jump immediately to surgery but opted to try injections fist which I really appreciated. He was friendly but very professional and most importantly I am very happy!
The day of surgery, he called to se how I was doing!! I never felt like just another patient! Everyone in his office was very personable-obviously love what they do!

Reviewed my MRI. Didn’t jump to surgery being a must, I got a cortisone shot instead of the surgery. Will see how the shot works. Thanks!
