He has a quiet manner but he reads through your history thoroughly before beginning to explain your procedure which he explains well, he’s emphatic and the procedure went better than expected, other than the quick pain of the anesthetic I felt no pain. I would highly recommend him
I was completely informed of procedures
From the moment I walked in the procedure room he and the nurses were explaining again what they were going to do. I felt very comfortable and he talked to me during the procedure telling me exactly what he was doing and when to expect a stick.
The doctor made me feel comfortable and procedure was not painful. I am glad he did the procedure I needed. Spoke directly to me and understood what was happening.

I have known Dr for over 30 yrs as an anesthesiologist and pain management physician. Dr is a well trained medical specialist in his field. Dr showed compassion to this patient along with all his patients. I was well cared for by Dr Pendergast and his excellent staff during my resent procedure. We in the Wabash Valley are very blessed to have Dr and his well trained staff here in Terre Haute. Thank you for a great procedure and out come.
Completely professional and compassionate
I went to Dr. Pendergast for a steroid injection and later for a diagnostic injection (nerve block). On both visits the Dr. and nurses were polite, professional, answered all of my questions, and were calm and reassuring during the procedure. The surgical room was immaculate and comfortable and the facility (Sycamore Pain & Wellness, Terre Haute) is very easy to get to, plenty of close parking, clean, and well organized. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Pendergast to friends and family in need of these services.
