Today was my 2nd post -op with Dr. Moskal since my hernia surgery in March 2024. During my first post -op with him, about 5 months after surgery, he basically told me I was still having pain because I hadn't given my body sufficient time to heal. Now, nearly 2 years after my surgery, I discovered the mesh used in my surgery is the subject of literally thousands of lawsuits and has been for at least 7 years. Set up my appointment, maybe spent 60 seconds in the exam room before he was off to see the next patent. I was chasing him down the hallway asking him more questions. He’s on the spectrum for sure, and has zero people skills. Googled him while waiting to schedule my hernia surgery. Thank god I did and found all these one star reviews… immediately schedule with Dr. Speyerer at bayside in Winter haven after asking some nurse friends. I feel like his rating is low because not enough people are reporting the good. He was friendly , personable and made me feel at ease. I am so glad I chose him for a Dr.
I don’t like Watson Clinic in general, but this doctor was just the cherry on top. Maybe his surgeries aren’t the worst, but the way he treats you as a patient is just awful. After having my surgery and it not healing he told my family and I “I am just doctor moskal, I do what I do, this is my practice”. Very arrogant, kept us coming back for months telling me “it will heal on its own”. Finally at wound care after a year after begging for it.
Dr. Thomas Moskal did not express a modicim of interest in my concerns nor did he provide a straight forward answer to a single question. When Dr. Moskal determined I was not in need of any further service from him (surgery) he disregarded me completely.
