I had cataract surgery 3 days ago and I am amazed how well I can see.The surgery was painless and lasted just a few minutes. Since the surgery I have had absolutely no pain. Dr Mattax was fantastic with me along with all his staff. Can’t wait to get my other eye done. I would highly recommend Dr Mattax!!! It is so nice to see without glasses for the first time in over 30 years.
I was legally blind. My vision was considered "count fingers" without glasses or contacts. For those who don't know, that means that my vision was so bad, it wasn't even on the 20/20 scale. Dr Prater’s office is organized, clean and the staff is very efficient and caring. Dr Prater has an excellent “bedside manner”, he explains what he is doing and why. He follows through and keeps my Primary Care Dr up to speed on my results. He also did procedures on both of my wife's eyes which were very successful with no drama. I highly recommend DrPrater and his establishment.
They all did such a great job with my eyes. I have complete trust in them. They make your time as comfortable as can be and you can ask them anything and get an answer that you can understand. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
Dr Smith found my problem quickly and referred me to Dr Mattax. He took care of the problem with a one minute laser surgery which was painless and will be permanent. I could see better in a couple of hours.
He is wonderful. I am so glad I have him as my dr.
