I can only give the highest recommendation for Dr Thomas Klein. He my full hip replacement and a few years after when I became allergic to the metal he did the revision surgery. Both times he was kind, thoroughly explained everything so I had the knowledge I needed to feel at ease, very caring about his patients well-being and best surgeon I could have wanted. After my full hip replacement slowly I became allergic to the metal. Dr Klein also performed my revision surgery too. I only wish I still lived in Virginia because I n... read more
He was very blunt about my knee condition and offered options. I plan to go back to him for my knee replacement.
Dr. Klein is very unique in his approach as he never tries to persuade you into surgery. He always gives it to you in black and white and allows you to weigh your decision at your own pace.
3 arthroscopic knees and 1 arthroscopic shoulder. All great, results. At age 60 i can still run 8:30 min miles for 4 miles on a regular basis. Still recovering from the shoulder surgery. He's very thorough, answers all your questions and a great doc!
Very thorough. Listened closely to how I explained what I was experiencing. Gave thorough easy to understand opinion on what was happening and how to care for it.
I had a successful knee replacement a few years ago with Dr Klein. Yesterday I returned with a painful shoulder ailment. I immediately got X-rays right in the office then Dr Klein thoroughly explained his diagnosis. He’s brilliant at finding your weak spot and giving you several options. A competent surgeon who doesn't suggest surgery as a first option! I was given several exercise plans, a painless cortisone shot to ease the pain and many suggestions of how to properly heal. I left the office happy and grateful. Dr Klein wi... read more

Allowing my body to continue to recover on its own but with some PT and anti-inflammatories to help it along faster. This is the second time I have come ... read more
Dr. Klein took plenty of time with me, explaining my situation and treatment options, even coaching me on best use of my cane for ease of walking. I would recommend him unreservedly.
Dr. Klein is very thorough in his review and is very considerate in his recommendation for treatment. If treatment or surgery is not needed he will not recommend it.
