I completed all the paperwork in advance, had reports and scans from others with me, arrived early and saw Dr. Cross. She was very pleasant, listened patiently and offered answers to my questions. I feel confident with her abilities. Considering the long wait times for neurologists, I feel lucky to have gotten an appointment so quickly and it worked out smoothly.

Never got to meet Dr. Cross. Appointment was scheduled several months back. Then received an unsigned and undated notice that I had been "postponed" until further notice. Very unprofessional and insulting! No way we would now use her services, people skills are missing.

I was referred to Dr. Cross in 2017. She diagnosed the likihood of a very rare Neuro disease. Other diagnostic tests were performed and lots of information resources and ultimately a referral to Vanderbilt. She seemed very professional. I have referred others.

Dr Cross has been my neurologist for years, even while she was at blount neurology. She has ALWAYS been amazing to me! I will continue to see her as long as I can and need to. Thank you Dr Cross for always helping me in every way you possibly can!

Here is my experience today: I never got to see Dr. Thea Cross so I can't evaluate her medical skill. However, either her management skill is very bad or her staff is not up to the simple job of scheduling, after the appointment was scheduled 6 months ago, I was texted yesterday to be reminded that my appointment is today, I took an early leave from work, drove an hour to get to her office. After less than 30 seconds at the front desk of Dr. Cross's office,

Dr. Cross speaks directly to me about the medical problems I am having. She keeps me fully informed and she involves me in the medical treatment plan. We are a team. Great Doc??

I waited 6 mos. for appt. with another neurologist in this Tennova group. After arriving at Dr. office I was told they were not accepting new patients , this was after confirming appt. 2 days before. We made another appt. with Dr. Cross. After waiting another 6 mos. and conformation of appt. 2 times in the week of appt. I was called the day before appt. and told they were not accepting new patients. I was offer new appt. with another Dr.--9 mos. out. DO NOT USE THIS GROUP!

She doesn't spend much time in the room. But her staff is BEYOND amazing. I've never had nurses continue to keep me updated on insurance progress and work so hard to get me the medicine I needed to get covered.
