🚨 After my son encountered a number of minor head injuries, and raising concerns about supervision at the camp ; YMCA director of Vineland NJ has advised she is removing all of my children out of the Camp because I dont feel comfortable signing a Waiver form titled "covid_19" consisting of an agreement "Not to Sue" for "Negligence"etc resulting in serious injury or death .The specific waiver was never provided to me initially and is not included in the registration packet . RecommendedThey just replaced all their equipment with new ones and their staff is super friendly. I also enjoy all their classes and you make friends. I can’t wait until we can go back to our normal life so I can start going to the gym... I miss the cycling 🚴 classes.
Today 2/9/2020, I was invited to a birthday party (swimming party) and the life guards 2 of the 3 were really rude. They were talking down to the children’s like they already knew the rules. The girl yelled at the children and as a teacher I corrected the way she should be talking to children. The other guy walking around was in other children’s face as if he was their parent discipling them. I felt very uncomfortable as well as other families at this birthday party. I love the Y! A place you can always count on as home. I went to nursery school there, studied karate, learned to swim. So many of my firsts happened at the Y. Great for families to share a place together or individuals looking for community. Whenever I’m home I go
