I loved this place! I never heard of it before, and I was shocked how good the food was. I tried the fried green tomato grilled cheese, which was excellent! I would definitely recommend and return.

Good quality food. The naming convention for sandwiches is really cool. The tomato soup was cold, but I could tell if it were warm it would be really good.
My experience at the yard has been THE BEST restaurant experience I’ve had since dealing with multiple severe food allergies. From the beginning, manager, Mike, was beyond helpful and careful helping me order safely and overseeing my order. Just stopped here, sat at the bar upstairs for 10 minutes. 3 employees behind the bar not a single one of them noticed me. I patiently waited while they all dispersed and began clearing tables, again oblivious to me sitting alone near the end of the bar. They were more interested in the few drunk patrons singing in the other end. I left.
Was here for a Bridal Shower. The food, drinks and atmosphere was wonderful.
RecommendedTrademark cocktails exclusive to Shadyside’s eclectic nightlife. This one bar that serves it all It would honestly be an injustice to refer to their menu as “ BAR FOOD”! Their menu translates and defies social boundaries from the Becky on a diet needing a healthy meal to someone needing a comfort meal as well. The staff is friendly and helpful! The environment is casual but inviting. Worth a visit!
