My son and I went hear yesterday-we love the atmosphere. The cocoa and coffee drinks were wonderful and we loved that we were able to play checkers. However, I went to the counter to ask for a" to go cup" and was treated like I was bothering the help, barely acknowledged, blank stare, and no "thank you for stopping in" or" you bet". Just bleck. ( once a guy and another a girl). Please work on your customer service skills. I was a waitress for years and you really need to step it up.
Not a bad place to hear music, have some coffee, or drink a beer! Especially fine on summer evenings with the overhead doors opened up.
My wife and I were visiting Colorado Springs and we found this gem of a place! The atmosphere was awesome and the food was great! My wife is pretty picky about her food… OK, she just told me to change that to she likes "quality food". Either way you go… It was nice to find a place where she enjoyed the food and wanted to keep going back. :-)
The Wild Goose is one of my more favored places to go in the Springs. Welcoming, smiling staff, delicious and allergy friendly food, good beer on tap and the strongest toddy I've had to date. I love the musicians that come in and there's always a fun crowd. I give many thanks not only to all the work put into this place, but also the warm, inviting, and loving energy that is consistently here.
