been going here since I was a kid. I've played a dozen or more shows here with the FYSO as a teen. and tonight I took my niece to her first ever whiting performance and she instantly fell in love. I'm excited to continue the tradition my family instilled in me to keep the arts alive and share it with a new generation. we were at the Capitol tonight (it was a Whiting presents show) to see Hiplet and I cannot rave enough about how amazing the show was. The Whiting is a wonderfully decorated event venue. It is a place I so enjoy attending shows that are brought into the Flint area

Comfortable space to watch a performance.
The Whiting is a terrific theater with free self parking or inexpensive valet parking. It is a wonderful place to see a live show. Also, it is located in a very nice area of Flint that also features an art museum, historical museum, school of performing arts, planetarium and more.
