Great appointment with Dr Elewsky however checking in was so disappointing. The woman who i approached had an attitude and was very condescending lucky me i had to check out with her as well. She almost seemed bothered that i had to stop by her desk. Trust me if i didn't have to i would have avoided her completely. Terrible attitude
I had an appointment scheduled with Rheumatology Dr Vachhani that I had waited over a year for. Yes, that’s correct over a year and to no fault of my own my appointment was canceled the provider decided to take personal time. I called to reschedule the appointment and was told the next available was not until April of 2027. I asked to speak with someone who could help get me an appointment close to the time of my original appointment. Friendly helpful staff. Great doctors
Well worth the drive. UAB is such a huge hospital, but Whitaker Clinic is easy to find & next to the parking garage. Rheumatology there is wonderful & have a pharmacist + patient assistance coordinator available.
