Always wanted to try this resort and was very happy to finally explore. Beautiful grounds and facilities. The spa was heavenly. unfortunately due to "low occupancy" the pool bar is not operating. I am very unhappy as I booked this mini-break specifically to lounge by the pool with a cocktail. A sole waitress visits the pool at lunch to take food/drink orders but does not return. Restaurant food very good and the indoor bar is great.
Had dinner at the restaurant on property. The food was good, but the service was spotty, at best. Disappointing, considering there were only a few other tables with people dining. From there, went out to get the car from valet, but nobody was around. Thankful for the lovely and helpful front desk clerk, who tracked down our keys.
Amazing place, fablous gardens, amazing location, fantastic pools and spa. Amazing friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic room, just loved it. Highly recommended. Keep up the great work Mark (hotel manager) your efforts are certainly appreciated. Will be back very soon !!! 👍👍👍
My family checked in yesterday. I didn't like the smell of the room that was given to us. My husband went to the reception and right away they changed the room. Thank you.
