Beautiful rooms on a golf course for reasonable prices. We had two doors opening onto a patio with chairs and a table, overlooking hole 3. The breakfast bar was totally yummy. Eggs or omelettes to order, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, teas, biscuits and sausage gravy, yummy bacon, lightly spiced sausage, fried potato cubes, grits, cold cereal and milk, the only thing missing was donuts but they did have fresh pastries. It was included in the price of the room. Served 7-10 am by a very nice and attentive staff ... read more

We are not golfers but we had a great time. The food was excellent and the staff could not be more accommodating. Rooms were very nice and our view of the golf course and mountains was incredible. A real gem!

Had my wedding in the Cork & Cleaver Dining Room of the Waynesville Inn. They provided good food and great staff at very reasonable pricing. They ensured my wedding was a special day despite the 7 inches of snow that fell night before lol

It's ok. It's a golf resort, so that is the focus. There is a ProShop, a tiny pool, a Spa (door was open but no one ever came to help me) an old school restaurant (think Dirty Dancing) with an attached bar and a Sports Bar. The food was ok. It was just a weekend get away from Asheville. Our room was ok, certainly not resort quality - dirty carpet and walls, inexpensive bed linens.

We had one of the cottage rooms that faced the golf course and mountains. We had a small spider web in two corners of the room. It would have been nice to have a microwave, but there was a small fridge. The breakfast buffet was good, as was the staff.

The first room we were put in the bed was so lumpy my husband said he could swear they used the mattress to catch meteors falling from the sky. He actually got up at 2am and went downstairs to ask about a new room. The next morning we moved to a new room still same issues with the mattress. Breakfast was OK but servers need to work the room and make sure every guest is doing OK. The rooms need upgrades, paint peeling off walls and can barely get the windows to open to enjoy a breeze. Our room didn't have any three prong plug... read more
