This place is TRASH. My grandmother came here, to this "skilled nursing center" from Kaiser Rehabilitation, doing great.....walking with help, eating and drinking. She was quarantined for 12 days, and progressively got worse...because no one was caring for her. My mother (NOT A NURSE OR CARE GIVER OF ANY SORT) had to tell the nurses here to check for dehydration. I was there less than an hour and had money stolen out of my purse. The food was not good and was in very small portions. Most of the employees were nice but some didn’t belong in that line of work. In the 2 weeks I was there my sheets were changed 1 time at my request.

I am absolutely unhappy and very upset with the care my father has received at this facility. I dont recommend anyones loved ones to be here. So unprofessional and the lack of care and I've tried to reach someone to get issues resolved with no call back.
I spent 2 Weeks In Quarantine and was looking forward to moving to the West Wing for more intense Workout on my Right Knee Replacement on the 3rd Week.. then My Insurance Dismissed Me! Very Disappointed! Was. Not Ready to Go Home.. I Had 4 Bags of Clothes & Toiletries Brought to me by my Sister and Received Everything. All The Staff Was Professional and Caring.. if I had a problem.. Everyone Was On it and Fixed it.. The Food Was the Only Thing I Did Not Care For.. they Need A Complete Make Over In That Department!

My husband brought me clothes twice and I never received them. instead I was given clothes that did not even fit. The clothes for me, some were new. This is unacceptable! Several phone calls were made back and forth requesting my husband to bring me some clothes. He told them he had brought 5 bags of clothing on Friday after I was brought there on Wednesday. My mother spent over 2 months at this facility. I sent clothes for her to be changed into but they were lost at the facility. She had better care from the male attendants than she did with the female attendants or aids. Her colostomy bag burst on her 3 times even though she had previously alerted staff that the bag was getting full.
I've worked as a CNA, CMA, and currently have a great aunt at The Villages of Southern Hills. Their team approach to providing patient/resident oriented care is outstanding. They are such an accomadating community that ensures each person is comfortable in their short visit or long term transition.
