The View is a complete and total lost cause at this point. Any new owner would have to pay twice it's worth in improvements in order for the facility to be worth half its value. The serious level of dilapidation that a series of irresponsible and cheap owners (present ownership INCLUDED) has allowed is beyond that any financially responsible person would accept. Word to those about lease an apartment. Do NOT lease at at The View at Kessler Park! The maintenance is only able to trouble shoot, the current management company is not keeping the property up to safe standards. Both elevators were were down today until 11:15 pm. There would have been no way to rescue anyone with a medical emergency. One elevator has been down for 3 months, leaving 1 to service 11 floors of residents. Do you love slumlords?! You’re going to LOVE the View. Nothing works, trash is left all over the property, and management is unresponsive. The elevator has been down for almost two months. It said it would be fixed yesterday. No surprise, it’s still not fixed. If you want to pay four figures for a room the size of a garbage hotel room, go for it. Otherwise, stay away.
As a potential resident i have to say this place is not too thrilling at all. 1. I read all the reviews on Google and on Facebook and thought "it cant be that bad". then i noticed they had new management. So id at least give it a shot. I called around 2pm and asked could i come by and see a unit. was told we close at 6pm we stop showing at 5pm. It’s private and secure. But I wish the elevators worked better lol...
If I could take stars away form the I would definitely do it. This is the worst rathole to live at. The manager is never there, she’s always on “vacation” and if you submit a maintenance order they take forever to fix it. Hallways are always nasty, elevators are always filthy and broken. The young girl in the front desk has the worst attitude ever. They are overpriced compared to the sense of urgency they show when it comes to fix any issues in your unit. Even their maintenance/cleaning crew complains about this new manager ... read more
This place has turned into a slum....no heat for almost two months...roaches everywhere....it smells like a dead body...laundry services do not work on most floors. No access to the gym they claim to have...no security....broken down cars all over the parking lot...DIRTY.
