Love living here so far! The mantinence guys are awesome and always come in with a positive attitude. We especially enjoy Corey because he's always willing to try new sweets my roomates and I bake!

Do not move here, period. Please read the comments about this place before you even consider giving them any money. This place is full of nothing but scam artists. The front office will find every single tiny thing to fine you for, and provide absolutely no explanation or evidence to what the fine is for. Every outlet, plus in, wall, and door has 20 layers of paint over it and makes the place look completely trashy. I, like many others, have had nothing but trouble when dealing with The View. Their page and advertisements are appealing and attract young college students with their affordable rent and close location to campus, however, before even moving in it was already apparent that they are completely unorganized and frankly dishonest. There were charges that didn’t make sense, charges that weren’t explained and charges that sometimes seemed fake. It takes days for them to get back to you after contacting them. I haven't even moved in yet and I'm already having issues. To start off, they kept calling asking questions about the application and they kept messing up. Now, the roommates I was assigned to live with weren't the ones requested. I didn't even get paired to live with my sister and family friends. It's my first year as a college student and i don't feel comfortable living with strangers. I tried reaching out and they said there was nothing that could be done. By far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived at. They are so poorly managed and the way they treat their residents astounds me that they are still in business. I had roommate disputes that involved the cops a couple times and the view refused to do anything about it so I asked to transfer rooms. The first person i talked to said that this was possible and it was no problem I just had to pay the transfer fee. However this is when the dysfunction that is The View started to come to light. I don't think that it is terrible, but it is not great by any means. They couldn't place myself and my current roommate with one of our other friends which is pretty crappy. The front desk people do not know the answers to any of the questions you might have so there is really no point in asking them. I think it is pretty safe for the most part. The walls are incredibly thin as I can hear literally everything that is happening outside which sucks.

The customer service is absolutely terrible the only staff members that were genuinely nice are the maintenance staff. Also just an FYI they offer incentives for leaving reviews so I would not be surprised if all of the positive notes are written to earn gifts and money.

The online site says they offer 10 month lease. When you apply for 10 months they then changed and tell you there's only 12 month leases and they keep your $30 application fee and charge you a 30 amenities fee. I spoke to Justin Ferloug who said the website does not say there are 10 month lease. which it currently still says. They refuse to reimburse the amenities fee which should not even be charged until your application is accepted. Then I'm told for $100 a month more they do 10 month leases.
