Great drinks!! Great food!
Waited 1.5 hours for our food, which then was cold and greasy and they got one order wrong. Really hate this as The Veranda has been a favorite for years. But according to many people we have talked to recently, the food and service have been poor and it certainly was the case for us yesterday.

We love trying new places when we come to Starkville. This is one I wished I would have not tried. The bartenders can't make a basic margarita, I ended up having to drink a glass of wine. Appetizer was overdone, My husband food came out with hair in it and my food was to salty to even eat. It is definitely not worth the cost. Will not be back. The only good thing was our server, She was very sweet.

I lived in Starkville about 8 years ago and this was one of my favorite restaurants. I took my mom to eat for lunch. There were 3 of us. Two got koby burgers which were great but the 3rd got the chicken fingers which I have eaten in the past so juicy and plump. What came out was unrecognizable fried black crispy nothings that were horrible. I made a poor decision not to say something and send it back. It was not worth the $$$ and was mostly a fried “puff” of flour with dried chicken in it. I will not go back👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
