One of the worst Ribeye steaks I’ve ever had. For the price we paid, I expected much better. I may eat here again, but I’ll never order another steak.
Not the best food for the price... food just ok... the Grill and Harvey’s have y’all beat hands down. Could not have a conversation at the table for the loud obnoxious kitchen help.... do you not have a night manager that can keep his employees in order. Was so looking forward to tonight.... needless to say The Veranda is officially off of my bucket list and I would never suggest this place to anyone

Very nice place. Wait staff was friendly, but a little slow. Barely saw anybody after we got our food. The crawfish tails app was wonderful. The salad was good, but took a while to get. My wife had the ribeye that she ordered medium. It came out well done. I had the Cajun surf and turf. The shrimp and crawfish sauce were very good, but the steak was overcooked. Excellent catfish sweet potato sautéed squash and chicken. Awesome as usual!
I only get to visit my brother & his family every other year or so to catch a State football game. Regardless if we win or lose, if we go eat brunch on Sunday @ The Veranda before I head back to Texas it's an awesome weekend visit! Love you guys! #HAILSTATE
