Delicious. One of the best meals I’ve had in Pittsburgh.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. We frequent quite a bit because they are around the corner and we are always happy. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the food is excellent, and it's a casual ambiance but top notch food. They are accommodating when we bring our toddler (wish every restaurant was as nice!). Loved the food, service, and atmosphere. Would highly recommend and definitely come back to the Vandal when I am in town.
Well first off our Grandson Joey is the most likeable person and this is his restaurant. The soft served eggs are the best ever and the 5 grain bread it comes with is so good,also the egg sandwich, the biscuits are so good that it comes with..The Cappuccino was also good and fresh coffee in big mugs...Love our Vandal ....
Stopped in for dessert today with a friend. We arrived just as they opened. Our server never formally greeted us (not even, hello) never smiled, barely spoke to us. While paying my bill, a young girl walked in to order coffee. The server said hi, what can I get you, thank you, have a good day. When we left the server had her back to us, so not even a thank you and goodbye. It really felt a little like age-ism. While the dessert was good it was most definitely ruined by the experience. Will not be returning
