Received great care and compassion from all the nursing staff on the 4th floor Orthopedic Unit Last year and again last week. Hard working staff
Needed the ER for a scary yet embarrassing situation and from the beginning felt I was being “punked” in other words on a hidden camera comedy shows. The only bit of professionalism was from a very respectful and compassionate nurse whose listed as DB on my papers. I was never registered prior and asked to sign consent as I was walking out, my bloodwork was never read until I called after leaving to remind them. I had surgery here when I was 22 (five years ago). It was my first operation. While the doctors were wonderful, the nurses and med techs were truly amazing. The morning after my surgery I woke up scared, alone, in pain & crying. Vicky (not sure if she was a med tech or nurse) brushed my hair in to a ponytail, told me how pretty I looked despite how ugly I felt, and held me telling me over and over that everything was ok. Care is non existent. Just a money market for Leigh valley hospital . No available appointment s for days/months with your so called “primary dr”. No return phone calls, miss information given without regard for the patient. Just herd people to your express care to a dr who has never seen you before. Especially poor care for young children.
I WENT IN FOR STENTS AND ENDED UP DR.DAMAGED ARTERIES.ended up with cabbage.Now all my drs are thru valley health it makes easier, but hope you have no pain.because they believe everyone is dr dealer.Check my records I hadnt had any in 8 years.I dont think I am hooked on any and also do not believe patients should not suffer nor be shame when in pain
