A very customer oriented store. They have good prices and excellent repair service. The technician and many of the staff are very knowledgeable about computers. This is a community business that thinks highly of their customers instead of trying to squeeze every dime out of them. In a recent transaction, of many, they charged me $15 labor to install a new keyboard on a HP persario laptop without any problems or delay in the work.

I had a great experience. I've been lagging on getting a replacement battery for my 4 year-old G4 and after too much searching online for "the best deal" and not even knowing the batteries were a reputable brand or even reputable for generic, I decided to walk in to these guys.‎

The Used Computer Store has saved my life. I brought in my lifeless computer not thinking it had a hope in the world since the shady folks at Eid's had uploaded an incompatible Russian version of Windows onto my computer. I couldn't even get to my main page. Not only did the incredibly polite and amicable staff at The Used Computer Store diagnose and fix the seemingly impossible problem, they did it for cheaper than Eid's staff charged to ruin my computer in the first place. I'm an engineer, and I often need to get some obscure part of a computer. This is the only place in Berkeley that will root through their old parts for me. They found an Intel IWI4965 wireless chip for me, which is almost impossible to find as it was sold as part of a set of Gateway motherboards.

Dashing Blond That Was Patient & Intelligent – There is a dashing blond that works in this store, and not only did he help my friend get a quality keyboard for a decent price, but he also patiently & intelligently helped a little old man that was in front of us in line with his computer confusions.
