They really know their stuff – These guys are great and they really know their stuff. I had a virus on my computer and it infected all of my files. They were able to save most of my pictures and documents. Now my computer runs good as new and more importantly they recommended Norton Anti Virus so that this never happens to me again.

Despite all the haters on here, I had a great experience. I've been lagging on getting a replacement battery for my 4 year-old G4 and after too much searching online for "the best deal" and not even knowing the batteries were a reputable brand or even reputable for generic, I decided to walk in to these guys. This place is pretty good. The customer service isn't fantastic, but overall I like it. I'm an engineer, and I often need to get some obscure part of a computer. This is the only place in Berkeley that will root through their old parts for me. They found an Intel IWI4965 wireless chip for me, which is almost impossible to find as it was sold as part of a set of Gateway motherboards. They gave it to me for $15. I'm surprised at all the negativity from the previous reviews. These guys were great ! I've bought three different computer systems from them over the years and they've always been helpful. I travel all the way from SF just to buy from them. In fact, I'm going back again this week to get a new laptop. Sure, they won't wait on you hand and foot all the time. (I guess some of these other people are peeved about that). But hey, talk to them about what you need and they always listen and help out. And, it beats buying some sketc... read more

This place is great. I've bought RAM, a 24" monitor, keyboards, etc. It's probably where I'll go to buy my next laptop once my Macbook core duo is obsolete. I've also sold them surplus monitors and keyboards.I have trouble understanding the reviews that criticize the price difference between this store and craigslist/ebay. I purchased a MAC a few years ago, I haven't had any problems with it, they are very helpful and answered all my questions. I highly recommend them to all that are looking for a used computer they're really great.
