Can't follow instructions – I fired the upstairs maid service after using them for about 2 years. The cleaning service was adequate and I was ok with that. They weren't always punctual, but they did show on the days they said they would. My problem is that they trapped our cats in a portion of our house. misleading info on web site – I requested one-time cleaning. Their service charge is $140. On their website, they advertise it is 1.5 or 2 hour 3 person job. But the 3 people only spent about 1 hour in my house. My house is around 2000 square feet. When I called the office they said my house is small that is why it only take an hour. I mentioned that compared with other maid service, if it is 1 hour job, the charge is too high it should be around $100. But they insisted on their price. I will never use it again.
Example: great place for good bread – My experience with Upstairs Maid has been horrible. They do a less than OK job at cleaning. Each time they miss OBVIOUS places for cleaning (extremely dirty/dusty window sills. Today they left a blanket covered in dog hair over the sofa that they're supposed to vacuum - thus leaving the sofa covered in hair. The whole story is actual quite hilarious. Worst cleaning service ever – I had these people come in for a one time cleaning, so I could evaluate their service. They charge about 80% more than other cleaning services I've had and I wanted to see how they did before hiring them on a regular basis. They came in (late) spent one hour "cleaning" and said they were done. I ended up walking around with them for thirty minutes after that showing them that everything I wiped with my bare hand came up with dust (and not just a little dust). Terrible Cleaning Service! – I have had a very bad experience with this company. Had about 6 weeks of good, consistent service with a team of three that would spend approximately 2 hours in my 2500 square foot home. The time dwindled significantly, and at the end they were staying only 45 minutes. I had to call the office three times before they would change the cleaner they were using on my concrete floor, which left a horrible, streaky film. Best quality for your money – This service has always been able to fit me in when I'm on a bind. I have used them several times and I'm pretty pleased. I would definately recommend this service to all my friends.
Awesome Cleaning Service – The Upstairs Maid has been cleaning my house for just over a year now. They've been fantastic. The cleanings are thorough and high quality. They have always arrived when they said they would. When I needed to adjust the schedule, they have always been accomodating and helpful. Recently, I learned they also handle interior and exterior window cleaning. Wow - I love looking out the windows now! I highly recommend Upstars Maid.
This service was so speedy that they missed half of it. There was no attention to detail plus I was overcharged. – I found myself in a pinch with unexpected company coming in and the whole week had been a disaster.
